Stone walls, terracotta tones and wide-open views set the scene as you arrive at Villa Grigoris I, a generous three-storey retreat set on the edge of the traditional village of Emprosneros in Crete’s Apokoronas region. Upstairs, each floor feels almost like a private wing. The first floor bedrooms open onto balconies and feature king-size beds, ensuite bathrooms with bathtubs and sofa beds that make hosting extended family easy without compromising comfort.
