Villa Azelia
About This Villa
The immaculate Villa Azelia is located moments from the sea in the colourful village of Koskinou. It is a brilliant location just five miles from Rhodes Town in the north of the island and six miles from the tourist resort of Faliraki and the Music School of Rhodes. Koskinou is incredibly picturesque and famous for its unique mosaic of colours. Its wood and iron house doors are all painted in vivid colours and enjoy carved or etched designs. The little gardens are cobbled and so pretty behind the courtyard doors. It is a village that makes you feel happy. The newer coastal area, where Villa Azelia is located, is considered to be one of the most popular destinations for family holidays in Rhodes. The village boasts charming narrow streets, beautiful churches and chapels and a wonderful array of traditional taverns and cafes. There are countless paths that lead from the newer part to the old village with its cobbled streets and whitewashed squares full of vibrant flowers.
Villa Azelia is modern, bright and airy. It offers five spacious bedrooms, sleeping ten guests in luxurious comfort. Its living spaces are open plan in design with glossy floor tiles running thoughout. The cream and red kitchen offers all the appliances you will need for your self-catering stay, pleasing the chefs in your group. It offers a breakfast table and an American style double fridge freezer. The bright and cheery kitchen leads around to the living and dining area. Here you will discover a smart dining table and chairs under a trendy light fitting and a comfy corner sofa arrangement, perfectly positioned to watch the large wall-mounted Smart television. The neutral colour tones are calm and relaxing. Doors open to the terrace, pool and garden. Also on the ground floor, you will find two of the five bedrooms. One offers a sumptuous double bed, beautifully dressed with luxury linens and exquisite soft furnishings and the other twins which sit side by side. Guests staying in these rooms share a beautiful shower room. Upstairs there are two double rooms and another twin. Again, all of the beds are beautifully adorned with scatter cushions and matching bedspreads. One of the double rooms enjoys an ensuite bathroom with a bath and shower and the other two rooms share a family shower room. Attractive artwork decorates the walls throughout the villa.
The outside space is very generous in size. As well as the main pool, there are two small swimming pools for young children which is very helpful. There are plenty of quality wooden loungers with parasols, a lovely, covered alfresco dining area and a barbecue, a huge porch with alfresco lounge furniture, lush lawns and beautiful views to the sea. It is very easy to relax at Villa Azelia. You may be tempted to stay put though the Old Town of Rhodes is only twenty minutes away and the wonderful Kallithea Springs are just five minutes from the villa. The magnificent ancient acropolis of Lindos is only half an hour away.
