This fabulous, five-bedroom villa sits on the east coast of Madeira in Caniçal, and has ample space for a family or group of friends. Surrounded by lush palm trees, and sea and mountain views, Casa Boal is a light and beautiful place.
There’s a fantastic games room on the lower ground floor where you can rack up a game of billiards, and a handy laundry room for washing and drying clothes. But the ground floor is where it all takes place. The living areas and bedrooms are all located on this level giving the property a sense of fluidity. Whitewashed walls, wooden-panelled flooring and modern furnishings create a tranquil ambience, and it won’t be long before you’re relaxing on the huge sectional sofa and staring through the floor-to-ceiling glass doors at the endless blue sky and equally blue sea. Two separate corridors lead off from the open-plan living area to the five bedrooms featuring a mix of single and double beds. There are also five bathrooms with baths. The bedrooms are all light and airy and adorned with fresh, modern furnishings but with the natural light flooding through the windows and the alluring swimming pool glistening in the sunshine, you’ll want to head outside. Bask in the sun by the pool, snooze in a hammock on the balcony or take it easy with a good book on the neat lawn. Do exactly what you want here, as the casa is the perfect place to unwind. Come lunchtime, gather in the back garden, throw some fish on the barbeque and feast al fresco at the wooden table.
Casa Boal is ideally placed for those who want tranquillity and is also conveniently located within walking distance to a sandy beach and several pretty cafes. For further amenities, it’s just a 10-minute drive to Caniçal with its harbour and seafront walks, supermarkets and delicious fresh fish restaurants.
