Just 100 metres from the shoreline of Sitges, Villa Montenegro combines rich heritage with architectural distinction in an exceptional seafront setting. Built in 1933 by the celebrated architect Turoll, this protected villa is recognised as one of the town’s architectural treasures. Its historical significance is evident throughout, from ornate cornices and arched stained-glass windows to the marble staircase and classical ironwork, all preserved while accommodating modern holiday living.
Beyond the elegant front doors, high ceilings and filtered light create an immediate sense of space and refinement. The L-shaped living room is bright and inviting, furnished with turquoise sofas, antique pieces and paintings, and flows into a formal dining room designed for long, convivial meals. A modern, well-equipped kitchen with adjoining breakfast area sits just behind, suitable for group catering or the use of a private chef.
The villa offers five double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, including a grand master suite with original fireplace, curved windows, private balcony, study and dressing room. A turret bedroom on the top floor provides an atmospheric studio retreat with 360-degree views across Sitges and the sea. Outside, Mediterranean gardens frame a private pool, sun loungers, shaded seating and a dining terrace with barbecue for twelve, while an upstairs terrace shared by two bedrooms offers a peaceful spot for evening drinks. Set at the quieter end of the seafront promenade, the villa is within easy walking distance of beaches, cafés and the centre of town, offering a stay defined by character, comfort and enduring elegance.
