Five generous bedrooms are spread across the upper floors, all with king-size beds that can be reconfigured as twins, making the property wonderfully flexible for families or groups. Three bathrooms, including one en-suite, provide comfort and privacy. Air-conditioning in four of the bedroom ensures cool respite after sun-soaked days.

Step outside and discover a terraced Mediterranean garden where flowers, lavender and Cypress trees frame the idyllic scene. The village itself is small, authentic and surrounded by rolling countryside, yet not too remote. In summer, Brézilhac comes alive on Thursday evenings with a little night market with a beer and pizza van. Essentials, from boulangeries to bistros, are just 10 minutes away in Montréal and Belvèze, while the larger towns of Castelnaudary, Mirepoix and Limoux are within easy reach, each offering their own culinary and cultural pleasures.
