As you might imagine, the swimming pool room has doors opening right onto the pool – perfect for early birds who like to get in a sunrise swim or fancy a midnight dip before bed. A five-minute drive away is the town of Gouvia. It has two lovely beaches with shallow waters perfect for small children; rent some loungers and catch some rays, or try your hand at all kinds of watersports. The island's capital, Corfu Town, is also only a twenty-minute drive with its buzzing nightlife, cultural sites, tasty restaurants and shopping boutiques.
