Villa Onda Blu
About This Villa
For a truly authentic stay in the Amalfi coast, Nerano’s Villa Onda Blu offers the most beautiful vistas of the sea as well as a wonderful swimming pool, set on the Sorrento peninsula. Here you are only 550m from a highly regarded restaurant with three Michelin stars and a short distance to the restaurants and beach at Marina del Cantone.
Indeed, this exclusive villa feels like a small corner of paradise, far away from the tourist crowds of nearby Sorrento and Positano (although Italians know all about this idyllic coastline). With its welcoming air-conditioned interiors and incredible sea views from its terraces, as well as the gorgeous garden and raised swimming pool, this villa is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday with family or friends.
In a perched position, the main accommodation is spread across the top two floors of the villa with a spacious dining and living room with French doors leading out to the main terrace perfect for al-fresco dining and lounging. On the upper floor there are three bedrooms including an especially magical master en suite double with its own private terrace looking out towards Li Galli Island.
For 6-10 guests, the lower level self-contained annexe is also included, perhaps perfect for accompanying grandparents or friends, with its own living space, kitchenette, bedroom and jacuzzi bath, not to mention yet more opportunities to embrace the lovely surroundings.
Make the most of services that can be arranged and enjoy breakfast on your terrace as the birds sing or a private chef service accompanied by good local wine as you gaze at the most romantic sunsets.
Follow the road down to the coast and soak up the seaside ambience of Marina del Cantone. There are some excellent restaurants here, another one with a Michelin star and one beachside establishment that featured in Stanley Tucci’s ‘Searching for Italy’ when he spoke about his love for ‘Spaghetti alla Nerano’. After sunbathing at one of the summer lidos on the beach, keen walkers should follow the stunning walking path to Spiaggia di Recommone.
Of course, you are also well positioned for venturing to Sorrento, Positano and other gems of the Amalfi coast either by car driving along the winding roads so typical of this region or look out for boat tours, a fantastic way to appreciate the beauty of the Amalfi coast and even the island of Capri.
