Embellished with artist Simone Boni’s murals depicting the nine neighbourhoods of medieval Florence, the rooms maintain the same magic and elegance as the rest of the property. 

Outside, the space is bright and open, with a maze of paths winding through the garden. There is a large infinity pool, perfect for cooling off on hot summer days. Surrounded by strawberry trees, rosemary and jasmine, the only option is to put your feet up and relax, finishing off your favourite summer book! For those who enjoy dining al-fresco, there is a fabulous outdoor dining pergola and spacious dining table to seat twenty-two guests. The location of Casa Gherardi is perfect for wine tasting, as it is located within a world-famous wine (and olive oil!) producing region, celebrated by Verdi, Michelangelo and many others. The closest town is Greve, a 10-minute drive away. In fact, the villa is perfectly located both to visit the art cities (with Florence about a 45-minute drive away, or Siena a little further afield, ideal for a day trip) and enjoying the tranquil calm of the Tuscan countryside.
