About This Villa

With its roots in a 17th-century watchtower, Casa Della Vedetta rises above the Tuscan landscape as a characterful retreat steeped in history and charm. Surrounded by rolling hills and flower-filled gardens, the villa’s timeless stone façade and traditional interiors set the stage for a stay that’s rich in atmosphere and warm Italian hospitality.

Inside, original wood beams and terracotta tiles run throughout, grounding the spaces in their rural past. The layout is spacious yet homely, with a main living and dining area on the ground floor where meals, laughter and late-night chats unfold around the table. The kitchen is fully equipped and made for preparing generous feasts, with ingredients easily sourced from nearby markets and villages. Upstairs, four inviting bedrooms, two doubles and two twins, are each paired with their own en-suite bathrooms, offering comfort and privacy for families or groups. Every room includes air conditioning, and the bathrooms all feature a hairdryer for added convenience. 

Tucked away within the original watchtower and accessible only from the outside, an additional bedroom and bathroom create a unique and private escape. At the top of the tower, a panoramic terrace offers uninterrupted views across the valley, a perfect spot for sunset aperitivi or quiet reflection under the stars. 

Step into the garden and the villa’s tranquil charm continues. Roses and flowering plants surround a shady pergola, where al fresco dinners stretch into the evening. A short stroll uphill reveals the private swimming pool and adjoining heated Jacuzzi, bordered by tall cypresses and overlooking the hills beyond. Sun loungers invite lazy afternoons with a book, while the fresh country air carries the scent of nearby blooms.
