About This Villa

Set among rolling vineyards and olive groves in the Chianti hills, Casale Poggibonsi unfolds as a generous country retreat designed for shared stays without compromise. Comprising a main house and a separate annexe set a short walk away, the property offers both togetherness and independence, making it particularly appealing for large families or groups of friends travelling as one. 

The main house blends traditional Tuscan materials with lighter, contemporary touches. On the ground floor, a welcoming living room with fireplace provides a natural gathering point, while the modern, fully equipped kitchen leads through to a dining room centred around a large table for long, unhurried meals. A double bedroom on this level, with an accessible shower room, adds flexibility for guests who prefer step-free living. Upstairs, wood floors set a warm tone across four further bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and subtly different character, one of which can also be accessed via an external stone staircase. 

The annexe adds a distinctive dimension to the stay. Once a rural barn, it has been reimagined as a light-filled living space, with large, uncovered windows that draw the garden inside. A living room with fireplace and dining area sits above a short flight of steps leading to the kitchen and shower room, while the loft-style bedroom above features a freestanding double bed and a bathroom with hydromassage tub and soft lighting, creating a quietly atmospheric retreat. 

Outside, the villa is framed by a broad lawn edged with stone walls, hedges and flowering shrubs. The swimming pool, with its gently curved shape and shallow entry, sits alongside a wooden deck with sunbeds and an outdoor shower.
