About This Villa

Located atop the scenic St. Elia Ridge, Castello Salentina offers an enchanting escape into the heart of Puglia. Located on Via Andrano, affectionately known by locals as "the Vale of Health" for its reputedly fresh, health-giving air, this stunning estate is just fifteen minutes from Lecce, often called "The Florence of the South". The Ionian and Adriatic seas are within a short drive, providing easy access to Puglia's breathtaking coastlines. Castello Salentina is a gorgeous retreat that can accommodate up to 22 guests in four distinct areas: the Castle, Cottage, Tower, and Masseria.  

As you step through the grand entrance, the interior of the Castle immediately embraces you with its blend of historical elegance and modern comfort. The Castle features two expansive open-space lounges, perfect for relaxation and socialising. The Beckstein Grand piano stands ready for those inclined to make music, creating an impromptu concert for fellow guests. It also boasts a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for culinary enthusiasts and a sophisticated dining room for shared meals.   

Entertainment is elevated with a private cinema, while an office space caters to any work needs. There is even a rooftop terrace, which offers stunning views and a serene spot to unwind. Each of the four uniquely designed suites exudes charm and sophistication. The super king-sized 'Arketipo' beds promise restful nights with their aloe vera-infused mattresses and pure linen bedding. In the bathrooms, luxurious rainfall showers and Carrara marble bathtubs beckon for a soothing retreat. Modern touches like Bluetooth-enabled Marshall speakers and discrete mirror TVs keep you connected and entertained.  

The Cottage, just next door, provides a cosy retreat with a comfortable lounge. It includes two bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom featuring a rainfall shower, offering privacy and relaxation. The adjacent Tower provides two more exquisite suites with a heated pool and lush landscapes. The additional buildings ensure that larger groups can share in the magic of Castello Salentina, making it a perfect venue for gatherings and celebrations. Finally, you will find the last two bedrooms at the Masseria.  

Outside, the estate's thirty-seven acres unfold in a tapestry of olive groves, citrus trees, and meticulously maintained Italian gardens. The two stone-clad pools glisten invitingly, with one featuring a shallow area ideal for lounging with a glass of vino bianco. Antique shaded gazebos, swinging Globo chairs, and hammocks provide serene spots to unwind. With its sunken stone seating, the large jacuzzi offers a perfect end to a day of exploring or simply enjoying the tranquil surroundings.  

Dining at Castello Salentina is a delight. The on-site restaurant serves authentic Pugliese cuisine from breakfast through dinner. As evening falls, the rooftop terrace bar becomes the ideal spot to witness the spectacular Salento sunsets, cocktail in hand.
