Palazzo Del Capo
About This Villa
Located in Puglia, Palazzo Del Capo is an ancient, 17th-century palazzo lovingly restored to retain much of its original charm.
Bordered by the Adriatic Sea to the east and the Ionian Sea to the southeast, Puglia is renowned for its splendid coastline framed by limestone cliffs and azure sea, as well as charming towns, delightful cuisine and rural landscape boasting hectares of vineyards which produce some of Italy’s most prized wines.
The villa breathes timeless elegance inside and out and can accommodate up to 12 people in 7 bedrooms. On the ground floor, guests can unwind in the living room, and your favourite meals can be prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen. There are two double bedrooms on this floor. A large stone staircase leads to the first floor, with three bedrooms. There is a two-bedroom suite; one bedroom with a French bed and a communicating bedroom with two single beds. The third bedroom on this floor has a romantic balcony with a view towards the countryside and the sunset. The final bedroom – housed in an old barn – is on the stairs leading from the kitchen to the first floor and terrace.
On a hot day, why not cool down in the large swimming pool equipped with a hydromassage jet or relax on the sun loungers on the spacious terrace? Alternatively, wine and dine al-fresco in the garden. There is also a large terrace where you can admire romantic sunsets over the surrounding countryside.
When it’s time to venture outside the property’s grounds, stroll to the historic centre of Gagliano, which holds music and entertainment events in summer. Here you can find some restaurants and bars where you can savour southern Italy’s delectable cuisine. Alternatively, a short walk takes you to the nearest beach nestled among rocky cliffs, and there’s also a picturesque walking area from where to soak up stunning views.
