About This Villa
Villa Recitano is a newly built home located in Puglia in the South of Italy; Puglia is known for its expanses of Mediterranean coastline, pretty whitewashed towns and wide open countryside. This modern villa is close to lovely beaches and 6km from the nearest large town, making it ideally placed for a holiday.
Villa Recitano is a stylish, relaxing home set out over three floors. The main living spaces are open plan, allowing for evenings spent together over a meal or playing board games. In this area, there is a large dining table, comfortable sofas and a modern kitchen. Downstairs there is another living room and a small kitchen which can be utilised by those staying in the two bedrooms in this part of the house; this set up is perfect for if two families or groups of friends are sharing as it offers privacy if needed.
The bedrooms of the villa are cosy and well-decorated, perfect for retreating to after a long day in the sun. The house has five bedrooms, including a master suite with a roof terrace and en-suite bathroom.
Due to its setting outside of the town centre, the house sits in a spacious plot filled with lawned areas, patios and rich planting with fruit trees and herbs. The focal point of the garden is, of course, the large pool which has a shallow area and also hydro massage jets. The poolside sun loungers, outdoor kitchen and al-fresco dining areas mean you can enjoy the garden well into the evening and eat outdoors as the sun sets.
Villa Recitano is ideally located for visiting the beach and the nearest is just 1km away. The local beach has fine white sand and the clear Adriatic Sea for you to enjoy, it has also been awarded Blue Flag status so you can be assured of a clean and stunning beach on your doorstep. This beach is just one of dozens which can be easily accessed from the villa including small pebbled coves, beaches offering water sports and rugged natural beaches with limestone cliffs.
When you need to buy some ingredients to cook up an Italian feast or if you would rather eat out, there are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. The eateries and small shops along the seafront are within walking distance of the villa and the larger town of Monopoli is located a mere 6km away. Monopoli is a pretty medieval town filled with historic monuments and buildings alongside modern shops and restaurants and is great to have nearby.
If you want to explore more of Puglia’s culture and history then head to the city of Lecce which is just over an hour away and is filled with stunning Baroque architecture including the Castle of Charles V.
