Villa Caboni
About This Villa
Located in one of the most desirable areas in northern Sardinia, Villa Caboni makes the ideal base from which to explore the luxurious lifestyle and prestigious beaches synonymous with Costa Smeralda, as well as the island's fishing villages and breathtaking natural backdrops.
Inside, the villa exudes a true bohemian charm. From the moment you step into the living room, you’ll be bathed in light thanks to the large opening in the wall which lets the sunshine in. In the living area you'll find rattan furniture topped with neutral pillows and soft, wooden beams and decorations crafted from natural materials. The bedrooms are decorated in a Sardinian rustic-chic style, with locally inspired interiors complementing the neighbouring shores, and are all en-suite. Expect pastel-hued linen on the large double beds that match the curtains - some leading to dainty little balconies - and décor inspired by traditional artisanal crafts synonymous with the island's ancient past.
Overlooking the garden below is a large terrace, with walls carved out of limestone and framed by wooden elements. The architectural, whitewashed walls reflect the island’s clifftops upon its opening. Here, guests can enjoy an evening aperitif and watch the sunset change in the hues of hydrangeas. If the comfortable sofas aren't enough to persuade you, what about watching the stars through a telescope after an al-fresco dinner?
The garden is equally enticing, with neatly manicured lawns and enclosed with trees and lush vegetation that characterise the coast. Soak up the warm Mediterranean sun by the pool – whether you decide to jump in, laze on the sun loungers or spread out a towel right on the wooden deck. There are many quiet corners where you can retreat to when wanting to enjoy some privacy, but true adventures await outside the property.
The closest village is a 10-minute walk away and boasts local amenities such as supermarkets, a bar and a restaurant. To get even closer to the local lifestyle, head to Capriccioli, just 5 minutes away by car. The village is close to notable beaches, walking trails and beach clubs and it will keep you occupied for an entire day.
Costa Smeralda is 20 minutes away by car and is buzzing with summer regattas, bars and cafés with old-school glamour that add to the convivial atmosphere, only further enhanced by the azure backdrop.
While snoozing on the beach is tempting, more hustle and bustle awaits in Olbia, one of Sardinia's largest cities only a 30-minute drive down south. Steeped in rich history and culture, the coastal city lures travellers with its museums and churches, such as the San Simplicio Basilica and Museo Archeologico di Olbia.
