Cosmic Villas is thrilled to showcase this magnificent Grade II listed manor house, which sits proudly in a stunning country estate in Devon's glorious South Hams village of Landscove.

This magnificent manor property accommodates sixteen guests in eight elegant bedroom suites. The Barns, the rebuilt dairy buildings that now provide superb boutique accommodation for twelve guests over six gorgeous cottages and suites, are also located on the estate.

The house is a fantastic location for a celebration, family gathering, or corporate function. So it's no surprise that weddings are popular when marquees can be set up in the meadow, and the estate has an exceptional glass-roofed barn that can accommodate up to 180 guests.

Guests are lavished with sumptuous living spaces, Italian marble-clad bathrooms with egg-shaped freestanding baths, showers, Molton Brown amenities, exquisitely fitted beds, and stunning surroundings.

The grounds include a lovely pool, a lake, and a stream, all set within hundreds of acres of breathtaking scenery. There are numerous food alternatives for guests, including exquisite breakfasts, fine restaurants, and an unending list of activities and excursions.

The home is in a prime location, only three miles from Dartmoor and eight miles from the coast. Buckfastleigh, a lovely Devon town with fantastic cafés, restaurants, shops, and the unique South Devon Railway, where you can ride a steam train along the picturesque River Dart valley to Totnes, is relatively close by.

Buckfast Abbey, Totnes Rare Breeds Farm, Agatha Christie's Greenway House, Dartinghall Garden, Becky Falls in Dartmoor, and the lovely seaside resorts of Paignton, Salcombe, Torquay, Brixham, Hope Cove, Slapton, and Dartmouth are all nearby attractions. In addition, there are stunning villages, miles of fantastic walking terrain, and plenty of river adventures.

The villa, surrounded by beautiful countryside, was erected in 1840. It has been lovingly repaired and updated to provide magnificent living spaces and bedrooms while keeping its character and exquisite allusions to the past.

The bedrooms have an aura of elegance and dreamy romantic appeal, with lavish yet relatively minimalist decor. In contrast, the living spaces are richer in colour and vibrancy.

All of the spaces were created with both length and entertainment in mind. Aside from the manor house and barns, the estate has a restored WWII 'Nissen Hut,' the Dairy Kitchen, which may be utilised for events such as cuisine schools and demos or as a support for outside catering or private chefs, and the Glasshouse, which can seat up to 180 guests for dinner.

It's ideal for trade shows and corporate events. The conservatory in the manor home may seat up to twenty-four people.

Landscove's renovations have resulted in deluxe hotel quality rooms, complete with opulent furnishings, stunning artworks, and artefacts.

A stylish drawing room, a reading room, a dining room, a superb open-plan kitchen, a family area, and a conservatory can be found on the ground level.

The drawing and reading rooms are around the same size and have atmospheric feature fireplaces, one with blue and white colour palettes and the other with intense red splashes to complement the elegant oak furniture. The dining room is a joy with its exposed stone walls and vintage furniture.

The wraparound kitchen, conservatory, and family room are great spaces with a warm and welcoming rural vibe. Beautiful ivory cabinets, a massive professional range cooker, two fridges, two freezers, two dishwashers, four ovens, and a fantastic extra long island complete the chef's dream kitchen.

It connects immediately to the light and airy conservatory, making it pleasant. There's a farmhouse table and chairs, a modern log-burning stove and plenty of exposed stone and wood. This area is open to the family room with a contemporary sofa, chairs, and vintage artefacts. The views of the garden are breathtaking.

The second-floor houses five beds, while the top floor houses the remaining three. The bedrooms are all beautiful havens with painted hardwood floorboards, a selection of sumptuous, hand-carved beds, pristine white quality linens, handpicked vintage decorations, and dispersed treasures that will captivate you.

Some of the bedrooms include fireplaces. The first bedroom has a lovely super kingsize bed, an en-suite bathroom with a two-person bath, and a wet room shower.

The second bedroom has lovely estate views and has two single beds, one of which is a trundle bed for an extra visitor. There is also an en-suite shower room. Finally, romantic bedroom three is particularly remarkable, with its extra-large four-poster bed and en-suite with a two-person bath and wet room shower.

The fourth bedroom has a four-poster bed and an en-suite shower room. The final bedroom on the first level is breathtaking, with a luxurious kingsize bed. A beautiful spiral staircase leads to the second-floor bathing room.

Because bedroom six is trendy, you may have to draw straws. It has a lot of character with its exposed stone and brick arches and beams, an in-room freestanding bath, and a wet room. Its big kingsize bed is luxurious and beautiful.

The master suite, on the other hand, is a junior suite with its own sitting room. It also has a unique super kingsize bed, an egg-shaped freestanding bath in the middle of the space beneath the massive ceiling structure, and a wet room shower. It is simply heavenly, and you will not want to leave!

The final bedroom is equally lovely, with rafters, exposed stone, a kingsized sleigh bed, and exquisite linens. Whatever room you have, you will not be dissatisfied!

The grounds are breathtaking. There are protected alfresco lounging areas, stunning manicured borders, lush lawns, secret corners, a wonderful lily pond with permanent occupants, a family of moorhens, and many frogs, alfresco dining, and a fantastic pool that overlooks the lily pond.

The pool is available all year and has an eco-friendly heating system. Acres of lush vegetation, a lake, an old oak meadow, and towering trees surround it all.

The meadow is ideal for a marquee or a large-scale picnic. The walking routes and vistas are spectacular! You will remember your vacation for a long time!

It is paid to the owner twelve weeks before arrival by bank transfer, credit card, or cash.

The property owner/management will be responsible for holding and returning your breakage deposit. It shall have the right to deduct from the breakage deposit charges for any damage/loss to the property, any item in it, or on its premises that you or any member of your party causes.
