Cosmic Villas is pleased to showcase this lovely home in one acre of glorious grounds in the quintessential English village of Hinton Blewett, deep in Somerset's magnificent Mendip Hills.

The house is ideal for family gatherings and groups of friends celebrating something special. It is a beautiful sanctuary of polite living with infinite attributes and treats. This magnificent resort comfortably beds up to fourteen adults and two children and entertains them like few others.

It has an indoor pool, a home gym, a TV in the family room, a lawn croquet, Netflix and Amazon Prime, the most fantastic, characterful living areas, and a beautifully manicured garden.

Dinner and drinks can be enjoyed in lavish style both inside and out; you can sing along with the Bluetooth, you can have a 'Come Dine With Me' experience in the kitchen with guests cooking on the gas-fired Aga, the electric Aga oven, the combi microwave oven, or even in the top-floor kitchenette, or you can pop along to the award-winning Ring O'Bells pub for some steamed Fowey mussels.

Hinton Blewett is as calm as they come in a region of delicious cream teas, tasty cider, and stunning scenery. This quaint, picturesque hamlet is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and boasts a fantastic village bar with oak beams, inglenook fireplaces, and friendly smiles.

Suppose you prefer to remain in the magnificence of your atmospheric, panelled dining room. In that case, the pub also provides delectable five-course, full-tasting trips as takeout. In addition, the hamlet offers a lush, one-and-a-half hour, three-mile round stroll by Litton Reservoirs, where you can take in the fresh country smells, captivating, lovely valley, and rolling farmlands.

You will quickly become caught in the bird sound and country air when staying at The Rectory. Bath, with its definitive history of ancient Roman Baths, famous Royal Crescent, magnificent galleries, modern culture, year-round festivals, green spaces, and some of the most fabulous independent stores in Britain, is not far away.

Wells is known for its unusually moated Bishop's Palace, the majestic cathedral, and the fantastic eating scene that will leave your tastebuds tingling. Trips to Stonehenge, Avebury, Longleat Safari Park, Cheddar Gorge, the incredible Wookey Hole Caves, and Glastonbury Abbey will accompany your vacation.

Behind the historic stone walls that offer your complete solitude throughout your vacation, the lush lawns, towering trees, well-established colourful plants, and gorgeous wisteria, you will find an enormous country house that emanates charm, period character, and a warm, friendly atmosphere.

The mansion has been brought up to date with the current enchantment of technology and much enjoyment while retaining its elegance, heritage, and individuality.

Its opulent drawing room is packed with magnificent sofas. So you may retire with the Sunday papers and a cup of tea, snuggle up close to the roaring fire or gather the generations for family board games.

It transports you back to the time of Byron and Jane Austen, with thick drapes at the period sash windows, a chandelier hanging from the ceiling, and lovely Mendip garden views from the windows.

The warm, panelled dining room is adorned with Georgian magnificence and another historic fire that creates a roaring mood. On the ground level, four reception rooms radiate from the flagstone entrance, providing lovely locations to interact or retreat.

The children's lounge or family room has a large television, making it ideal for a relaxing evening after a long day. The tv in the drawing room is covered by a mirror. In addition to the formal dining room, the breakfast room has a country kitchen table, which is ideal for breakfasts, or guests can dine alfresco on the terrace while taking in the beautiful garden views.

With its five-door gas Aga with hotplates, electric Aga double oven, combi microwave and oven in the pastry room, a chilling cabinet for your smooth Sancerre, American double fridge freezer with ice-maker, Nespresso coffee maker, and other fabulous appliances, the kitchen will impress the most discerning of chefs.

The kitchen is a lovely, friendly space with plenty of places to entertain the chef! The house's upper floor also has a great kitchenette.

The property has a home gym packed with a treadmill and recumbent cycle, so you can stay healthy while drinking as much wine and eating as much local cheddar as you want.

The gym has a fridge where you may keep your cool bottled water. The lower floor also houses a seven-metre indoor pool heated to thirty degrees and ideal for a few lengths.

You will enjoy some serious shut-eye in seven gorgeous bedrooms, five double rooms, one twin room, and one nursery room. They are all filled with exquisite vintage and excellent soft furnishings and have contemporary, natural colour palettes.

Bedroom one has a romantic super king-size four-poster bed and an en-suite bathroom, bedroom two has a beautifully dressed super king-size bed, and a bathroom next door, and bedroom three has another super king-size four-poster bed and an adjacent spacious bathroom with an original decorative fireplace.

The nursery for three little children is accessible from bedroom three, making it a perfect family suite. Bedroom four has an attached bathroom and a luxurious king-size bed, while bedroom five also has a king-size bed. Finally, bedroom six is a lovely twin that shares a bathroom with bedroom five.

Finally, if you require additional space, the family room has a fold-down, wall-mounted double bed that you are free to use. Guests using this accommodation would have access to the downstairs restroom and pool shower or would have to share the upstairs bathrooms.

For bigger groups, an additional two-bedroom neighbouring apartment is offered for an additional charge.

Outside, you can dine al fresco in the walled garden at a large table with twelve people or on the terrace with great views. It's the place to go for champagne, strawberries, cream, and croquet.

The terrace is warmed by a fireplace and lighted by lovely lanterns in the evening. It's precisely correct; gaze up at the glittering sky and relax. The one-acre grounds are gorgeous and ideal for all guests, regardless of age.

Children will scramble for the swings, slide, and hammock while hunting for good hide-and-seek locations. Finally, your grill masters can start grilling on the BBQ after stocking up on meat and vegetables from the beautiful New Manor Farm Shop.

You will almost surely not want to leave at the end of the week!

It is paid to the owner twelve weeks before arrival by bank transfer, credit card, or cash.

The property owner/management will be responsible for holding and returning your breakage deposit. It shall have the right to deduct from the breakage deposit charges for any damage/loss to the property, any item in it, or on its premises that you or any member of your party causes.
