The big villa is in a fantastic location surrounded by countryside, with a spectacular view of the Lucca valley and the classic Tuscan olive orchards and fields.

It is spread across three stories and has plenty of space for large groups and families, with six bedrooms sleeping up to 12 guests, two living rooms, and a sitting room for socialising.

The bedrooms are bright, beautiful, and soaked in colour, with beds covered in floral-printed valances and sash windows that let in the light. The mezzanine floor has one double bedroom, while the first floor has the remaining five bedrooms.

There are two big suites, each with two bedrooms and an additional separate twin bedroom. The numerous living rooms complement these extremely restful places. At the same time, mealtimes are made cosy at the enormous dining table beneath a lovely wood-beamed ceiling.

The views from the pool and balcony are breathtaking, providing a front-row seat to a vista of olive and pine woods sprinkled with the terracotta roofs of adjacent houses and farms. There is also a tiny pool hut with a kitchenette to enjoy your favourite meals and snacks outside.

When it's time to go outside, stroll through Lucca's gorgeous ancient centre, which features palazzos, squares, Romanesque churches, and handsome fortifications. Shops, restaurants, and other local amenities can also be found here.

Lago di Massaciuccoli, Tuscany's largest lake, is only a 45-minute drive away, ideal for cooling off near the water on a hot day. It is rich in a natural landscape, with stilt-raised walkways leading to modest houses, beaches, and a lush pine forest.

If you want to try some delicious seafood, take an hour's drive to Livorno and walk down its waterside promenade before arriving at the new harbour and selecting the right site to eat dinner while watching the sun set below the horizon.

Florence, the Tuscan capital recognised internationally for its fantastic art and Renaissance architecture, is another must-see. It is easily accessible by car and is filled with centuries-old buildings, prestigious statues such as Michelangelo's David, an array of world-class museums, and a thriving dining scene.

Mandatory Breakage
€1500 paid in cash to the owner upon arrival and refunded upon departure, subject to full inspection.
