This picturesque Tuscan farm is hidden away in a region known for producing DOC Vino Nobile di Montepulciano wine, and Cosmic Villas is proud to offer it. This house is one of several picturesque farmhouses dotted around the countryside in this area, which is a part of the magnificent Val di Chiana.
The house has beautiful original elements and retains a lot of its charm, including wooden beams, arched ceilings, and stone floors. The interior is pleasant and classically Tuscan, thanks to the blue and yellow walls, and the French doors let in a lot of natural light.
The home, divided between a main house and a separate annexe, can accommodate up to nine guests, with room for a tenth on a sofa bed. While the two living areas with plush sofas and open fireplaces in the main building provide plenty of space to unwind, the traditional kitchen with a huge dining table is ideal for entertaining in the evenings. The annexe, formerly used to dry tobacco, also has a smaller kitchen and living space.
The exterior is lovely, with luxuriant vegetation, vibrant flowerbeds, and neighbouring lavender fields infusing the area with sultry summer scents. Enjoy the sunshine while lounging on a deckchair, cool off in the pool or find shade under a tree. There is also a covered seating area with a stone table and a pergola covered with vines for outside dining.
The nearby village, which has a restaurant, bakery, and a few stores, is only a five-minute drive or fifteen-minute walk away.
The charming village of Montepulciano, which is located a little further away, is well-known for its exceptional beauty and Vino Noble wine. It's a great destination to explore and is easily accessible by automobile in only ten minutes. It features winding streets, historic architecture, and a skyline of clock towers.
A 25-minute journey will take you to the Renaissance village of Pienza and the nearby town of Montalcino, both of which are highly recommended.
Visit Siena for the day and take in the city's UNESCO World Heritage Site centre, which includes the Duomo and Palazzo Pubblico. Enjoy the bustling atmosphere in the central centre and ascend the Torre del Mangia, which is only a 45-minute drive away, to the top to take in the panoramic views of the city.
