Cosmic Villas is proud to offer this historic home, peacefully residing in its rural setting with views of the Tiber valley and the Tuscan hills for many centuries.
The stone villa was later erected when it was only a lookout tower in the early 17th century. Both have just undergone renovation, creating a charming home base for your vacation in this stunning region of Tuscany.
Many characteristics of a traditional Tuscan country house have been preserved in the roomy interiors. As you experience each of the villa's distinctive spaces, the wood-beamed ceilings, terracotta-tiled floors, and some original wood doors give you the impression that you are travelling through history.
The five bedrooms all feature basic, vintage furnishings and wrought iron beds, which are the quintessential elements of Tuscan design. Since one of the bedrooms is in the tower, it's particularly well-suited as a getaway for couples. There is also a terrace with unobstructed views of the verdant landscape.
The living areas in the villa and tower annexe are both comfortable places to unwind, mingle, and take in history. The villa's lounge is a beautiful relaxing spot with cosy couches and a stunning fireplace.
The property's extensive use of wood and stone reflects the splendour of its immediate surroundings. However, the delightful Mediterranean garden, packed with plum, peach, and olive trees, as well as a variety of colourful and fragrant plants and flowers, is where it all begins.
It's possible to have panoramic views of the more significant landscapes while strolling around your lovely corner of the Tuscan countryside. The private pool and Jacuzzi offer breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Evening dinners feel quite extraordinary when eaten under the charming dining pergola.
Enjoy strolls through the villa's surrounding oak forests, where you can spot a variety of flora and fauna. Cycling is a fantastic way to discover the local landscape and will provide you with breathtaking sights.
The picturesque village of Monterchi, with its eateries, shops, and attractions, is only ten minutes away by a vehicle. The historic cities of Arezzo and Città di Castello are two more beautiful locations nearby.
