The property began life as a simple farmhouse in the early 1800s. It was lovingly renovated into a vacation home with original elements and modern amenities. The villa can comfortably sleep 12 people when combined with the separate annexe. This makes it ideal for groups of families or friends looking for a peaceful Tuscan getaway.
The main villa's four en-suite bedrooms are nicely furnished with antique items and gorgeous tiled floors. The fifth bedroom on the top level has a double bed and an attached attic bedroom with two single beds that can sleep two more visitors (best suited to children). This twin-bedroom arrangement may be excellent for those with smaller children.
The ground floor has several relaxed rooms where you may rest your feet, socialise, and enjoy nice dinners. Each room has many classic characteristics, such as brick ceilings, terracotta-tiled flooring, exposed stone walls, and massive fireplaces. The sense of antiquity pervades as you travel from one room to the next, with the TV room serving as a modern bonus.
The annexe has two double beds and every handy equipment and has a blend of modern and traditional elements. There is also a dining deck with views of the gardens in the annexe.
The main alfresco dining area is also located inside the extensive gardens. With seating and dining rooms, as well as a wood-burning oven for cooking excellent meals, you're bound to spend a lot of time here. In addition, a stroll through the lawned and green gardens leads to a vast swimming pool, ideal for cooling down on hot days.
The villa is located in the Chianti wine region's rural landscapes, meaning wineries and old villages surround it.
Drive to surrounding towns like San Gimignano and Gambassi Terme to go sightseeing, eat out, and absorb centuries of history.
San Gimignano is also an excellent starting point for country trails. The coast, its sandy beaches, and iconic Florence, Siena, and Pisa can all be accessed in about an hour by automobile.
