The main home is air-conditioned and has five bedrooms, all with en suite bath or shower facilities, including an enormous master bedroom on the ground floor with lovely garden views. Furthermore, just 50m away, a lovely annexe with a double/twin and sitting area with a sofa bed can accommodate three more visitors.

The surroundings are stunning, with a lovely swimming pool nestled amid the olive trees, wonderfully fragrant summer flowers, expansive lawns for youngsters to play on, and a vegetable garden where guests may help themselves to whatever is in season.

Relax in the sun beside the trailing bougainvillaea or stroll up to the swimming pool, enjoying glimpses of the sea through the Mediterranean plants, cacti, and trees.

Despite the rural location, there is a small grocery shop, a family restaurant, and a motel with tennis facilities within walking distance. With Monte Vico Alvano so close, there are several hikes nearby. Enjoy lovely walks around Sorrento through lemon orchards and vineyards, frequently along historic mule paths.

In around 15 to 20 minutes, you can eat orange and almond-flavoured gelato on a lovely terrace in Sorrento. After that, you can take the coastal road to nearby Positano to enjoy its romantic atmosphere and stunning surroundings.

Look out for boat journeys to Capri, sea-kayaking tours along the Amalfi coast, and charming tiny beaches, many of which have summer lidos where you may rent a sunbed and an umbrella.

Not to mention Mount Vesuvius and the spectacular sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, which can be easily visited for an unforgettable day out.
