A wonderful world of various landscapes is just a few minutes walk away with Vendicari Nature Reserve on your doorstep. The reserve is teeming with life, with marshlands providing opportunities to see flamingos, egrets, and pelicans.
The terrain is littered with antique building ruins that give the impression that these settings have barely changed in centuries.
You may walk across the reserve in about an hour and arrive at beaches like Spiaggia di Cittadella. The seashore is only 10 minutes distant by vehicle, and the beautiful Baroque city of Noto is about a 20-minute drive away.
