Cosmic Villas is pleased to showcase this lovely estate nestled in the forests and woodlands of the Umbrian countryside, close to the Tuscan border, and ideally located for a retreat in central Italy.
This house is definitely one-of-a-kind; built between 1500 and 1707, it was once a tiny village with a chapel, a few dwellings, and a lookout tower surrounded by agricultural land. This historic hamlet has just been renovated into six connected residences that can comfortably sleep up to 30 guests.
As you approach the property via lush fields, you will find a series of lovely villas built along the side of a little cobblestone road with breathtaking views.
Your group will hire this villa collection exclusively, making it ideal for a large family vacation or a trip with a few different groups of friends.
The size of each property varies; there is a villa that sleeps eight guests, three villas that sleep six visitors, and two villas that sleep two guests but have additional sofa beds. This means that multiple groups can travel together while maintaining their privacy as necessary.
All villas have been painstakingly decorated to honour the structures' lengthy history while remaining light, airy, and roomy. Indoors, you'll find antique furniture, fine linens, local materials, and open fireplaces. In addition, the villas include fully equipped kitchens, Wi-Fi, and smart TVs, and some have terraces or patios.
The six homes share the outdoor space, and with ten acres of manicured grounds, everyone has plenty of room. The settings are a fantastic feature. You will undoubtedly spend a lot of time there, whether you want to dine al fresco, relax on the grass with an excellent book, or plunge into the welcoming swimming pool.
Although the property is rural, the nearest shop, pub, and bakery are only a 10-minute drive away. There are many more services in Umbertide, which is only 8 kilometres away. Umbertide is a historic town with many stores and restaurants; you may visit historic churches, a museum, a castle, an art gallery, and many shops and cafes.
Suppose you want to eat with a view. In that case, there are a variety of restaurants dotted across the countryside that surrounds the estate.
Montone, which is 8 kilometres away, is another close attraction. This charming mediaeval village has old walls and is packed with exciting structures. While you're there, check out the Gothic church and municipal museum, and have your afternoon coffee at a street-side café with views of the valley below.
