This magnificent villa can accommodate up to 13 guests, making it ideal for bigger groups of family or friends travelling together. When you enter, you'll find yourself in light and spacious rooms that have been wonderfully designed and adorned with paintings from the owner's modern art gallery.
There are two living rooms and a dining room with a large table for special dinners if you want to spend time together as a group. When it's time to call it a night, there are 7 beautiful bedrooms to pick from, including 6 double en-suite rooms and a single room suitable for a youngster.
This fantastic villa also boasts several amenities to make your stay more comfortable, such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, satellite TVs, and even a gym!
Going outside into the garden, you will find it just as nicely equipped. There is a lovely infinity pool, a big wooden deck, alfresco dining places, a vegetable garden, and a pizza oven for those who want to make their own pizzas.
The garden's main attraction, though, is the breathtaking views of rolling hills and woodland from every viewpoint.
When you need to go shopping or get your daily coffee, the village of Sarteano is about 1.5 kilometres away. The hamlet has ancient sites, shops, cafés, and restaurants.
The best way to explore is with a tour guide who will know everything there is to know about the area's rich and intriguing history and will show you tucked away secret details in the castle and historic churches. Sarteano is also a beautiful spot for an alfresco lunch, with stunning views of the valley from its elevated position.
The beauties of Montepulciano, a walled hilltop town made even more renowned by the film Twilight New Moon, are 21 kilometres away from the estate. Visit Renaissance mansions and the magnificent Gothic town hall, which are still used today.
There are also artisan stores, marketplaces, and superb restaurants with outdoor dining in the evocative piazzas throughout the town. The best part is the panoramic views from the Torre, which stretch for kilometres. If you travel in the summer, watch for the town's barrel racing contest, which is fun!
If you have an art fan in your company, consider visiting Cittá della Pieve, which is 22 kilometres distant. This village on the Tuscan-Umbrian border boasts many works by the artist Perugino including a monumental painting in the Oratory of Bianchi. The village also attracts foodies who can sample local truffles and preserved meats.
Other great spots to visit in this vicinity include Radicofani (20 km), Perugia (61 km), Orvieto (55 km), and Lake Trasimeno (30km).
