Cosmic Villas is pleased to exhibit this 250-year-old historic Trullo structure in Puglia's rural centre. The property has been painstakingly refurbished and serves as an ideal location for your trip to Italy's heel.
The villa is a spacious family residence on two hectares of walled grounds. It is tucked away on a narrow country lane with only a few other homes, olive orchards, and fields surrounding it.
The location is ideal for a trip because you can spend a lot of time relaxing in this calm setting while being close to Ceglie Messapica and Ostuni, both great places to visit.
The main house and an attached four-coned Trullo, a style of architecture particular to this area that is a lovely stone dwelling with a conical roof, make up this light and airy home. In addition, there is a beautiful private annexe by the pool.
The villa can sleep up to 12 guests in total, with 4 of these sleeping in the annexe, making it ideal for two families travelling together or a larger group of friends because you can spend time with one other and have your own privacy.
Although the structure is old, the interior features modern décor and all the amenities you'd expect for a comfortable stay, such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and underfloor heating. In addition, the house is built around a substantial open-plan space with sofas, a dining table, and a fully-equipped kitchen, ideal for relaxing and chatting over a meal.
You will most likely spend a lot of time outside enjoying the weather in the expansive garden, which includes some covered resting nooks and dining spots and a stunning private pool. This serene garden is a sanctuary of lawns, olive trees, and native plants.
If you are hungry, many restaurants are strewn around the surrounding slopes. The town of Ceglie Messapica is about 6km distant by car. This charming town boasts many shops, cafes, and restaurants that line its cobblestone streets and antique piazzas. The town has a lot to see because it has been inhabited since 700 BC, including the ancient area with its Ducal castle and art museum.
Ostuni, which is 12.5 kilometres away, is also nearby. Ostuni, often known as The White City, is a stunning white-washed hill village with breathtaking vistas. Suppose you want to go to the beach. In that case, you will be spoiled for choice since numerous beautiful beaches are within easy reaches, such as Torre Pozzelle, a sandy beach 25 kilometres from home.
