Today, the house provides complete relaxation and convenient access to surrounding seaside locations like Conca dei Marini and Amalfi.
It's simple to imagine what may have been seen from the lookout centuries ago. The soaring rooftop patio provides spectacular views with an outdoor canopy bed. It's just one of the many lovely locations that make up the expansive outdoor space.
The inside of the villa is designed in the Baroque style, and each of the four bedrooms exudes vintage charm and exquisite grandeur. They are all en-suite, with one having the added luxury of a freestanding soaking tub with sea views.
The ground-floor family bedroom, which offers both twin and double beds, is suitable for those with younger children. It's a beautiful room, with doors leading directly onto its patio.
Walking around seems like stepping back in time, with arched ceilings, terracotta tile flooring, and exposed stone walls. Yet, the entire effect is one of relaxed richness, which is especially noticeable in the living area. Cosy sofas and carpets make it a welcoming space where you can unwind at the end of the day.
You'll also spend a lot of time on the main terrace with water views. Relax with a drink as the afternoons transform into warm evenings, then dine al fresco with the aroma of lemon trees in the air.
Other areas of the sprawling Mediterranean gardens are designated for relaxation. Whether on a lounger, sofa, hammock, or chic canopy bed. The infinity pool, which also has some of the most excellent views, is an ideal site.
A short drive along the villa's meandering coastal roads will take you to the town of Conca dei Marini. It offers the look and feel of a traditional fishing village, with a calm beach where you can relax, swim, and snorkel.
Elegant Amalfi is only a 20-minute trip down the coast. Stroll down the promenade beside the marina, taking in the panoramic views of the sea. You can also take a ferry or a hydrofoil to the island of Capri to see the magnificent Blue Grotto sea cave.
